I just completed a local 5K in 18:27 and could have kept going!!
Short-Term Running Goals:
Qualify for and then run the Boston Marathon in 09!
Long-Term Running Goals:
Long-term goal: Now that I have started again, never stopping!!!
Personal:
I am 39 and the big 40 is looming early in 09. I have made a commitment to myself to run the Boston in 09. It is a Herculean goal I know. I just started running/training again 2 months ago after a decade of not running. (family, job, grad school were my excuses!!) So several pounds more and much older joints I have embarked on what for me is a life defining moment. This is my Everest!!!
